Rapid progress in Wheel & Brake in-motion measurementKLD Labs of the US are greatly assisting Rolling Stock maintainers accross the world with keeping tabs on wear. Accurate data now can be collected at speed by KLD in-track installations to enable effective forward planning for wheel and brake wear. Vehicles remain in revenue service during measurement, data is transferred to base and planning programs flag any problems. Time & distance maintenance is now replaced with maintenance when required.
